Abstract:
The School of Engineering, Technology,
?and Design at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) is a newly
?established institution making rapid progress in various research
?areas, particularly in advancing manufacturing technologies and
?methodologies. Our research is centred on innovative manufacturing
?processes, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as additive
?manufacturing, automation, and smart manufacturing systems. By
?integrating interdisciplinary approaches, we aim to enhance the
?efficiency, sustainability, and precision of manufacturing practices.
?Our projects cover a wide range of applications, including biomedical
?scaffolds, water treatment solutions, healthcare, and sustainable
?energy systems. CCCU is dedicated to fostering industry
collaboration, ?driving technological advancements, and equipping the
next generation ?of engineers and technologists with the skills
needed to excel in the ?rapidly evolving manufacturing landscape.
This talk highlights our ?mission to lead in advanced manufacturing
research and education, ?highlighting our contributions to both
academic knowledge and ?practical industry solutions.
