Given our present understanding of the geometry of the universe, the clustering of the underlying dark matter can be accurately predicted at any given redshift. Understanding how this relates to the clustering of galaxies and quasars can give important insights into how these objects
formed and evolved. I will describe recent results on the clustering of quasars over a wide range of redshifts using data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. This work has been led by a former Tsinghua student, Shen Yue. I will also discuss the possibilities of applying to graduate school at Princeton or other US universities
