Professor Cooper H. Langford is a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (1991), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (1986) and the Chemical Institute of Canada (1971).
He was a director of NSERC in Physical chemistry, vice-President of Research of Calgary University, and Concordia University.
He received an A. B. from Harvard University in 1956 and a Ph. D. from Northwestern University in 1960. He now continues his research as Professor Emeritus and Faculty Professor at Department of Chemistry, University of Calgary, Canada. He has published four books including “Ligand substitution”, which has been cited more than 800 times, and research papers more than 120 including 10 papers in JACS, 9 papers in Inorg Chem, and 12 papers in EST. |
