rof. Dr.-Ing. Eduard Egusquiza
Prof. Eduard Egusquiza is a Doctor of Industrial Engineering and Professor of Fluid Mechanics at the School of Industrial Engineering of Barcelona (ETSEIB) (UPC). Previously, he was a professor at the University of Oviedo (1983-1988). He was director of the Department of Fluid Mechanics from 1997 to 2003 and is currently the director of the CDIF.
For many years, he has worked on topics related to unsteady flow and the dynamic/vibratory behavior of hydraulic machines with applications for damage diagnosis. He has been in charge of various research projects with companies, and has drawn up procedures for establishing monitoring, diagnosis and maintenance systems in hydroelectric units. He is the author of many articles and papers published in international journals and given at conferences.
