Science and its publication have become a vital basis of our life. The results of scientific research are published in journals and books. Therefore, both the actual research and its publication have to meet high standards. However, science publication media are increasingly confronted with problematic paper submissions, sometimes with high grade consequences.

 

One main reasons for this development is the increasing pressure on scientists to publish as many papers as possible andby maximizing profit. The profit at any cost—even if it costs human lives—is the Holy Grail of the time. The present talk addresses scientific writing skills as well as ethics in preparing and publishing the scientific papers.
