张正铭博士是国际IEEE 电池规范委员会电池组主席(P1625分会), 美国Celgard 公司首席技术官, 副总裁, 美国 Polypore 总公司(Sr. Fellow)科技会主席, 联合国特邀(Star)教授, USC工业校董事委员会委员, 厦门大学终身荣誉教授, 清华大学深圳研究生院兼职研究员，前世界材料学会能源部主席，前美国能源部技术顾问, 是电池及其膜材料领域著名的专家和学者，他目前研究主要集中锂离子电池和电池隔离膜、燃料电池膜等领域。张正铭博士目前已经在材料学、电池和燃料电池膜方面已经发表了70多篇论文和专利，合作编写出版电池方面的专著一本, 并多次在国际学术会议作特邀报告。

Dr. Zhang, a materials scientist, is a pioneer in Li-ion battery safety research, an authority on Li-ion cell regulations, an energy storage device expert and the elected speaker for the separator industry at IEEE. Dr. Zhang has published more than 75 papers, presentations and patents. He co-edited a book entitled “Materials in Battery and Energy Storage Devices”, and is authoring a new book “Modern Solid State Ionics”.
