Dr. Ming J Zuo received his Master of Science degree in 1986 and the Ph.D. degree in 1989 both in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, USA. He is currently Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada. His research interests include system reliability analysis, maintenance modeling and optimization, signal processing, and fault diagnosis. He is Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Regional Editor for North and South American region for International Journal of Strategic Engineering Asset Management, and on the editorial board of several other journals. He also served as Department Editor of IIE Transactions (2005-2008). He is Senior Member of IEEE and IIE and Founding Fellow of International Society of Engineering Asset Management. He received the Killam Professorship Award in 2004 and the McCalla Professorship Award in 2002 at the University of Alberta. Prof Zuo also received the 2006 IIE Golomski Award and the Best Paper Award at the 2005 IIE Industrial Engineering Research Conference. |
