  简介:

Prof. Hartmut Fuess

Prof. Hartmut Fuess is the dean of Department of Materials Science and Geosciences, Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany). Structure and property relationship in solids are the common theme of research. The methods at present actively employed in the laboratory are various X-ray techniques (powder, single crystals, grazing incidence, texture), transmission electron microscopy (including EDX and EELS), synchrotron radiation and neutron scattering. He served as President of German Crystallographic Association AGKr (1986-1988), Vice-Chairman (1990-1994) and Chairman (1994-1997) European Crystallographic Committee that has been transformed during this chairmanship into the  European Crystallographic Association ECA, and   Member in Scientific Committees (only listed since 1995). He is also a regular referee for Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Deutsche Akademische Austausch-dienst, German Ministry of Research, European Commission; American, French, Swiss, Italian Funding Agencies, International Journals and a member of Program Committees in National and International Conferences. Prof. Hartmut Fuess visited Oxford, UK in 1979; Toulouse, France in 1987 adn 1992 as a visiting professor. Honorary Professor of National University of Mongolia, Ulaan Baatar, was awarded in 2002,  and Honorary Doctor (Dr. h.c.)  of Technical University of Bratislava (Slovakia) was awarded.

Prof. Christina Roth

Christina Roth is currently University professor for material science at Institute for Materials Science, Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany). Her fields of specialization are applied electrochemistry and chemical technology with special emphasis on the development and characterization of novel material for fuel cells.
