Abstract: The Marine environment protection committee has set a series of rules in order to prevent air pollution from ships. In the future, ships need to set up a SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, which is expected for urea water management. In a SCR system, catalyst is installed in the exhaust pipe and urea is sprayed from the upstream and then decomposed by the heat of exhaust gas and becomes ammonia. Through catalyst reactions, NOx and ammonia are converted to harmless nitrogen and water. This SCR system enables 40% of urea water to be efficiently treated.

 

Bio: Ito Kazuyuki graduates from Senshu University, faculty of economics in 1976. From 1976 to 1980, he worked for Sakata Inx Corp in Tokyo and Taipei. From 1986 to 1996, he owned a restaurant of Sushi on wheels in Los Gatos, Silicon Valley California, USA. After 1996, he moved to Fuji Ultrasonic Engineering in Hamamatsu City, Japan and worked as overseas manager, director, acting president, president in turn. He has the goal of becoming a businessman to engage in overseas sales of electronic parts. He opened up agency shops in 15 or more countries and was engaged in sales of industrial measuring instruments at Japan and abroad. He developed the ultrasound application liquid concentration meter and viscosimeter and the factory is the only maker in Japan. He belongs to Hamamatsu Chamber of Commerce, Forum 21 for Management Innovation, SAT study, Special Zone to Create Asia No.1 Aerospace Industrial Cluster and  Advanced Precision Technology Study.
