Abstract: Researchers today are under great pressure to publish great numbers of articles. Especially in developing countries, we see an extreme growth of quantity, often not matched by the quality of articles. Elsevier Author workshop Project focus on how to write a scientific article, and how to get published in International Scientific Journals. It intends for the audience of young authors who are non-native speakers of English. It will explain what editors and reviewers love, and what they hate. It will be a guide for the young authors to publishing in scholarly journals. This workshop is a guide to publishing your research: writing, reviewing and ethical issues in journal publishing Publishing research in well known scientific journals is one way that researchers built reputation in their community and allow the wide dissemination of their work. This presentation will go through the history of journal publishing, introduce best practice tips and hints when writing a paper, highlight the editorial process, and detail the main ethical issues that face authors, reviewers, editors and publishers on a day-to-day basis. Short Bio: Executive publisher for Energy and Planetary Science Journals, since May 2011. She has been with Elsevier in various roles for the past 5 years. Previous to this, she worked at a marine ecology publishing company in Germany, after finishing her PhD in marine ecology at the University College Cork, Ireland.
