Abstract

The security and control of cyber-physical systems (CPSs), such as industrial control systems, are of paramount importance to ensure their safe operation, performance, and economic efficiency. There are many theoretical studies, such as vulnerability analysis, network intrusion detection, and resilient control methods, to ensure the systems under reliable operation. Before these techniques can be deployed in practice, it is necessary to evaluate their effectiveness first in an environment that resembles the realistic situation as much as possible. However, there is a lack of effective and comprehensive platforms to analyze vulnerabilities in a cyber-physical system, and to experimentally validate the effectiveness of theoretical security measures. To support research in security and control in cyber-physical systems, this presentation demonstrates a modular approach to develop an industrial control test facility.

宁喜荣博士,毕业于清华大学热能系(硕士)和Western University(博士),在工业控制领域工作多年,研究方向为信息物理系统(CPS),工业控制系统(ICS)和物联网(IoT)等系统的网络安全分析,检测和防御。
