  简介:

Summary of the presentation:

The complementary advantages of Global Positioning System (GPS), Pseudolites(PL) and Inertial Navigation System (INS) sensors have been the primary motivation for the integration of these systems. INS can provide a complete set of positioning and attitude information. However, the time-dependent growth of INS systematic errors is a major concern. Precise satellite and/or PL measurements are ideally suited for the calibration of INS errors.  In the worst situations where satellite signals are unavailable, it may be possible to maintain availability of range measurements by placing pseudolites at appropriate locations.  In fact, integrated GPS/INS/Pseudolite systems are, in principle, an ideal option for seamless indoor-outdoor positioning and navigation applications. This presentation describes the various integration scenarios for GPS, pseudolites and inertial sensors. Both system performance simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate the strengths of the integrated systems. Some challenging issues and latest developments will be discussed.

Biography
