内容简介:
Image sensors and imaging techniques are getting more and more versatile, powerful and ubiquitous. It can be said that their progress has far outpaced our ability in fully utilising their potential. In this talk, the recent progress on image based combustion and flow diagnostic techniques made in Manchester will be presented. It will cover, 3D stereo imaging, high speed imaging and flame colour analysis. The technology has progressed to a stage that all the just mentioned three aspects may be combined into one and potentially for real machine test at high pressure and temperature.
演讲人简历:
Dr Yang Zhang received B. Eng from Zhejiang University, China and PhD in the Engineering Department of Cambridge University. He then worked as a Research Associate and Research Fellow (Darwin College, Cambridge University). After this, he moved to UMIST as a lecturer and then senior lecturer. Image based combustion and flow diagnostics are one of the main research focuses of Dr Zhang's research group in Manchester. The other research interests are: Flame and acoustic wave interactions, high pressure flame dynamics, fuel variability effect on combustion instability, terahertz wave diagnostic techniques on sooty flame and the transition process of combustion instability in gas turbine combustor.
