简介:
Prof. Yi Lu is a Professor of Chemistry in Department of Chemistry, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) since 2004. He received his B.S. in Chemistry at Beijing University (PKU) in 1986, and then Ph.D. in Chemistry at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1992. After a two years’ postdoctoral research fellow at California Institute of Technology, he joined UIUC as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in 1994. Later, he was promoted as Associate Professor of Chemistry and Professor of Chemistry at UIUC in 2000 and 2004, respectively.
Prof. Lu’s research interests include “Biosynthetic Inorganic Chemistry”, “New Metallo-DNAzymes” and “Employing Principles from Biology to Nanomaterials Synthesis”.
