Interventional MRI has been established as a valuable method for the
guidance and titration of therapy with minimally invasive techniques.
In this presentation the methods for rapid imaging used for real time
image guidance will be reviewed, and the technologies employed to
track interventional devices will be described.  Applications for
realtime MRI guidance in pre-clinical development include direct
myocardial injections, rf-ablation, vascular procedures, and minimally
invasive placement of a prosthetic aortic valve.
