Yujia Li (李宇佳) is a research scientist at DeepMind. He got his Ph.D. at University of Toronto and bachelor's degree from the School of Software at Tsinghua University (2011). He co-led the AlphaCode project at DeepMind.


AlphaCode, a system for code generation that achieved an average ranking in the top 54.3% in simulated evaluations on programming competitions, solves problems by generating diverse programs using trained transformer-based networks, filtering and clustering those programs to maximum 10 submissions.
