Dr. Michael Davidson is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Michael studies the engineering implications and institutional conflicts inherent in deploying low-carbon energy at scale. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering systems from MIT, and was previously a Fulbright Fellow at Tsinghua University. In the seminar, Dr. Davidson will discuss the coupled challenges of enhancing physical and market flexibility in order to deeply decarbonize power systems, drawing on recent experiences in the U.S. and China.
