ABSTRACT At the epoch of reionization (EoR), the majority of ionizing photons are from normal star-forming galaxies. However, most of such galaxies are too faint to be resolved even in deepest galaxy surveys. I will review the recent progress in some approaches that aim to detect the signal from these faint galaxies, including the cosmic infrared background (CIB), the emission line intensity mapping (IM) and the gravitational lensing.
