IT security relies on the existence of efficient and secure digital signature schemes. Important applications of digital signatures are the authentication of web sites and software downloads. However, all digital signature schemes that are currently in use are threatened by quantum computers. In this talk we will show how hash based digital signature > schemes can solve this problem.
