题目:Understanding the chemical processes that affect growth rates of atmospheric nanoparticles

 

主讲人: James Smith教授,Professor of chemistry at the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on laboratory and field measurements to address the mechanisms of atmospheric nanoparticle formation and growth.

 

研究方向:He developed the Thermal Desorption Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer, an instrument that can measure the compositions of 6 to 50 nm aerosols at atmospheric concentrations.  He received Kenneth T. Whitby Award and Benjamin Y.H. Liu Award. He is an editor for Aerosol Science & Technology.
