摘 要:Human brain science is a field that will benefit greatly from many areas of computer science. Neuroinformatics is a term used to represent the application of computer science to neuroscience problems. The talk will cover neuroinformatics research and development work at the University of Oregon. This work utilizes high-performance parallel and distributed computing to address neuroimaging challenges.
报告人简介:Dr. Allen D. Malony is a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the Unversity of Oregon. His research interests include performance evaluation of parallel systems. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1990. Dr. Malony has received an NSF National Young Investigator award and an Alexander von Humboldt Award for Senior Scholars. He has been a Fulbright Research Scholar to The Netherlands and Austria.
