  简介:

Charles E. Perkins is a research fellow at the Nokia Research Center where he heads a team of researchers in the area of mobile networking and dynamic configuration protocols. Charlie is editor for the Mobile IP working group of the IETF and has just completed a two-year term on the Internet Architecture Board (IAB); he is author or co-author of standards-track documents in mobileip, svrloc, dhc and IPng working groups. He has worked on various committees for the National Research Council and is currently chair of the Nomadicity Working Team of the Cross-Industry Working Team (XIWT). Charlie holds a BA in mathematics and an MEE from Rice University, and an MA in mathematics from Columbia University. He is on the editorial boards of the ACM/IEEE Transactions on Networking, Wireless Networks, and Mobile Communications and Computing Review. He is a member of the IEEE, ISOC, ACM, and IETF.
