其专著Just One Child: Science and Policy in Deng's China (2008) 荣获：2010 Rachel Carson Prize of the Society for the Social Study of Science for the best book in science studies with social or political relevance；2010 Joseph Levenson Prize of the Association for Asian Studies for the book that makes the greatest contribution to the understanding of post-1900 China.
