 Abstract :
Nature Research is the home of high impact scientific and medical information in print and online. We are dedicated to serving the scientific and medical communities and the wider scientifically interested general public. This seminar will explain the editorial process at Nature Research and introduce a new journal from Nature Research-  Nature Electronics:

Nature Electronics will publish both fundamental and applied research across all areas of electronics, from the study of novel phenomena and devices, to the design, construction and wider application of electronic circuits. It will also cover commercial and industrial aspects of electronics research. At its core, the journal will be concerned with the development of new technologies and understanding the impact of these developments on society. By covering the work of scientists, engineers and industry, Nature Electronics aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the field.

Brief Biography :
Mike joined Nature Research in 2016 as an editor for  Nature Communications, handling manuscripts on semiconductor physics and devices, solar cells, thermoelectrics and memory devices. He joined Nature Electronics in 2017. Mike has a DPhil in condensed matter physics from the University of Oxford, where his research focused on new and emerging photovoltaics. Following his doctoral training, he remained at Oxford as a postdoctoral fellow to work on light-emitting diodes. He then worked at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, studying complex oxides and thin-film electronics.
