Hawking discovered in his pioneering paper that, in the context of ?quantum field theory in curved spacetime, black holes radiate thermal ?radiation. In this talk, I will revisit Hawking radiation in ?asymptotic flat spacetime and investigate how to generalize the ?analysis to Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime. I will also review the ?thermodynamic properties of the Schwarzschild-de Sitter system and ?show that Schottky anomaly persist in the presence of particle production.?

I am interested in theoretical high energy physics with an emphasis ?on classical and quantum aspects of gravity, quantum field theory and ?inflationary cosmology. Specifically, my research has mainly focused ?on black hole thermodynamics, the Schwinger effect, warm inflation and ?the Weak Gravity Conjecture.
