报告题目：A Molecular Scale Approach：X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy in Environmental Sciences

报告人：Professor Ning Chen

Abstract: This talk will first present the research opportunity of synchrotron related study at the Canadian Light Source (CLS), specifically for XAS. The presentation will then focus on the principle of XAS as well as its applications to both bulk and surface type of environmental systems.

Prof. Ning Chen is a senior scientist at Canadian Light Source, with extensive experience in the XAFS beamline construction, commissioning, and usage. He has over 50 publications.
