  简介:

Dr. Wu is an associate in Townsend's Biotechnology and Chemistry Practice Group. His practice focuses on patent prosecution and client counseling in the areas of biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, material sciences and mechanical arts.
   In addition to his legal experience, Dr. Wu has research experience in organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, polymers, pharmaceuticals and material sciences. His graduate research emphasis was on developing new synthetic methodologies. In his postdoctoral training, he investigated transition metal catalysis for stereoselective synthesis, and also performed research directed to new photonic materials for biological applications. Prior to joining the firm, he was a faculty member at the University of Missouri, where he conducted research in organic chemistry and taught several courses including organic chemistry and polymer science/chemistry.
