简介: |
While traditional approaches have revealed much about circadian clock function in several model systems, they have largely failed to explain the complexities of clock function. Recently, the field of network biology has begun to address issues in biological complexity. Here I will apply network-based techniques to understand mammalian circadian clock function. These include high throughput screening, which can be used to identify the parts list of the clock, as well as perturbation modeling, which can be used to uncover network properties of the clock. Finally, I will detail how RNA sequencing and the associated informatics can begin to reveal the output networks of the clock, which regulate observed physiology and behavior. |
