Introduction
 
Quantum Information is an emerging interdisciplinary area that provides completely new technologies for the post-Moore era. It has explored fundamentally new methods for the development of information science in the 21st century. It connects to many different fields of sciences, including physics, math, computer science, and information technology.
The Quantum Information Science Workshop aims to bring together researchers from different fields to give talks from the frontiers of quantum information science, and discuss recent advances in theoretical as well as practical aspects. The topics of the workshop include (but are not limited to):
  •  Quantum computation and quantum complexity
  •  Quantum algorithms
  • Quantum communication
  • Implementation of quantum computation and network
  • Quantum simulations and quantum many body physics
  • Quantum cryptography
  • Quantum game theory
