潘晓川教授，芝加哥大学放射学系、辐射与细胞肿瘤学系、医学物理委员会、癌症研究中心教授。研究方向包括层析成像的物理学、算法及其应用。迄今为止，获多项奖项，包括IEEE NPSS的早期成就奖和IEEE EMBS 技术奖，并当选为AAPM Fellow, AIMBE Fellow, IEEE Fellow, OSA Fellow和SPIE Fellow。潘教授担任NIH、 NSF、NSFC、和 NSERC 等多个基金项目评审委员会主席，成员或评审专家。为多家专业期刊编委或编委会成员，包括IEEE Trans. on Medical Imaging和IEEE Trans. on Biomedical Engineering，同时为多个同领域学术期刊担任审稿人。曾经并正担任IEEE、 RSNA、AAPM等举办的国际学术会议的技术程序委员会主席或成员以及技术/专家委员会主席或成员。
