报告摘要:
The preparation of soft nanostructured materials has become a routine matter in laboratories active in the field. A number of new challenges have now arisen, especially the exploration of new routes to construct materials where function can be designed and structure be controlled over multiple lengthscales. Examples from the Faul Research Group are presented where design rules are being developed to utilize the inherent electroactivity of polymers[1] and oligomers[2,3] for the production of new functional materials. Challenges in addressing functionality in such complex materials will be discussed, and possible pathways to overcome these challenges highlighted.
