报告摘要:
For many years flapping wing aerohydrodynamics has been of interest to scientists studying the mechanics and dynamics of flying and swimming animals. In the past fifteen years it has been recognized that flapping wings can be applied to the construction of micro air vehicles, thus opening a new field of aeronautical engineering. It is less well known that flapping wings can also be used to extract power from wind or water streams.
Prof. Platzer will review his and his associates’ work on flapping wing aerohydro-dynamics. It includes computational and experimental studies elucidating the basic physics of thrust and power generation by means of flapping wings as well as demonstrations of flapping-wing propelled micro air vehicles and flapping –wing hydropower generators. |
