According to data released on January 25th, 2013 by Ifo Institute for Economic Research, Germany's Ifo Business Climate Index is on the rise, indicating an economic upswing and a promising start to 2013. Germany appears to have been relatively successful in navigating the global economic downturn. At the forum, Professor Roland Berger, founder of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, will present and discuss topics such as:
Germany's leadership out of the crisis that swept through Europe and America's major economies
How Germany's social system and industrial structure helped it to weather the European debt crisis
How Germany's financial industry has became the backbone of its real economy
Professor Berger will analyze the success of German macroeconomic and social policy from the unique perspective of a strategic management expert. He will also lead a discussion with participants, business leaders, scholars, and the media to explore the ways in which the China can draw upon the important experiences of the German model.
