Topic: The application of scientific and regulatory systems to China’s policy goals for achieving river water quality targets. Adapting European approaches to China’s Water Resource situation and institutions.
Mr Spooner has for the last 5 years been the senior advisor from the European Union to China’s Ministry of Water resources and Ministry for Environmental Protection on Water quality management and pollution control. He works for the international consultancy Atkins and is affiliated with Cambridge University
