Yuming Fu currently serves as Vice Dean for research at the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore, and is an associate professor at the Department of Real Estate. A leading scholar on urban economic development and real estate markets in Asia, his work has been published in American Economic Review, Journal of Urban Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Real Estate Economics, and Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. As a longtime member of AREUEA, he has served on AREUEA Awards Committee and is on the editorial board of Real Estate Economics. A recipient of the AREUEA Doctoral Dissertation Award and a Post-Doctoral Honouree of the Weimer School of Advanced Studies in Real Estate and Land Economics, he obtained his PhD from the University of British Columbia. He previously held faculty appointments at the City University of Hong Kong and the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a visiting scholar at UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate. He is a visiting fellow at the Peking University-Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy and a director of the Asian Real Estate Society. |
