报告摘要:
报告将介绍美国面临的能源的选择,以及替代燃料及新型发动机技术给燃烧研究带来的机遇和挑战。报告将通过介绍极限燃烧和替代燃料燃烧下的新的火焰机制和实验现象以及传统的燃烧理论的局限性,引入新的火焰基和输运生成晗的概念。报告将讨论如何建立模拟真实燃料的混合燃料模型,并介绍实验验证的方法和航空燃料的模拟结果。报告还将以氢气和生物柴油为例讨论高压和替代燃料燃烧反应模型和中红外激光测量中的问题和新的进展。最后讨论燃烧研究的机遇和挑战,尤其是反应动力学的建模,湍流燃烧,和多尺度数值模拟及其在燃烧技术中应用。
报告人简介:
Yiguang Ju received his undergraduate BSE from Tsinghua University in 1986, and his PhD degree from Tohoku University (Japan) in 1994. He was appointed to the assistant and associate professor ranks at Tohoku University in 1995 and 1998, and as a Changjiang Professor and Director of Thermophysics Institute at Tsinghua University in 2000. He joined Princeton University as an assistant professor in 2001 and became a full professor in 2011. Prof. Ju’s research interests include combustion theory, modeling and diagnostics in the area of near limit combustion, microscale combustion, alternative fuels, chemical kinetics, plasma assisted propulsion, and functional nanomaterials. He has published more than 130 refereed journal publications. He is an ASME Fellow and a board member of Combustion Institute of Eastern States. He received many awards including the Young Investigators Award (1999) at the First Asia Pacific Conference on Combustion, the Best Paper Award (1999) by the Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences, the Yangzi River Scholar Award (2000) by the Chinese Education Ministry, the National Outstanding Young Scholar award from NSFC (2001), the Distinguished Paper Award from the Thirty-third International Symposium on Combustion (2010), the NASA Director’s Certificate of Appreciation award (2011), and the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2011). |
