简介：

Ansgar Poetsch studied Chemical Engineering at the TU Darmstadt from 1990 to 1995 and got his master’s degree in Biochemistry in 1995 and PhD in Biophysical Chemistry in 1999 at the TU Darmstadt. From 2001 to 2005, he attended the Distance Studies MSc for Bioinformatics in University of Manchester. From 1999 to 2001, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the research group of Prof. Dr. Robert S. Molday at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.  From 2001 to 2002, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Research group of Prof. Dr. Albert Ludolph at the University of Ulm, Germany. And from 2002 until now, he is the group leader in Research Group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Rögner at Ruhr University Bochum. His current research topics focus on “Global analysis of membrane components and technology development (membrane proteins, protein turnover, lipidomics, pathway modelling)” – Pioneered membrane proteomics for microorganisms and developed new –omics tools for the kinetic analysis of biological processes.
