Abstract: In this colloquium, I will describe how the Higgs boson could play an important role in probing quantum gravitational effects,in light of Nobel Prize 2013. I further discuss how to probe quantum gravity using quantum black holes. If quantum gravity is relevant at low energies, these holes could be produced at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) or in cosmic ray experiments.
