After the Higgs discovery, where is fundamental physics going? This is the most hot topic in high energy physics. As a kick-off of "the 1st CFHEP symposium on circular collider physics", a panel discussion on this topic will be held with panelists Nima Arkani-Hamed, David Gross, Gerard 't Hooft, Joseph Incandela, Luciano Maiani, Hitoshi Murayama, Yifang Wang and Edward Witten, moderated by Shing-Tung Yau.
希格斯粒子发现之后，基础物理学向何处发展？这是国际高能物理界最热点的问题。为此，我们邀请了八位世界一流的物理学家作为嘉宾，通过面对面的对话，共同探讨希格斯粒子的发现对基础物理学的影响及基础物理学的发展方向。论坛由数学科学中心主任、菲尔兹奖获得者丘成桐教授主持。本次论坛是未来高能物理中心（CFHEP）第一届环形加速器物理国际研讨会的开场式，由清华大学，北京大学，中国科学院高等物理研究所，中国科学院理论物理研究所以及中国科学院大学主办，校内承办单位为数学科学中心、物理系和工程物理系。
