  简介:
Paul Williams is a Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Leeds, UK with a research background in both applied chemistry and process engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Energy. His research interests are in the area of waste and biomass pyrolysis, waste gasification and incineration. He has published more than 250 international journal papers and more than 100 conferences papers.
He has also recently authored a second edition of a text book entitled “Waste Treatment and Disposal”. He has an ‘h’ index of 50 and more than 8500 citations to his work (Google Scholar).In addition, he has been awarded UK Research Council grants and numerous industrial and EU research grants, totalling over £15M. He is a member of the Editoria Boards of the journals, Environmental Technology, Waste & Biomass Valorization, Biofuels, Journal of the Energy Institute and also Fuel.
