Speaker’s Biographic:
Antonio SÁNCHEZ SOLIÑO, Professor in Applied Economics at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. He is a Civil Engineer and an Economist. He holds a PhD from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. He has served several years as an analyst at the Research Department of the Bank of Spain. During the 1997-2000 period he served as an advisor for the Under-Minister for the Budget, in Spain. He has been advisor to the Spanish Parliament during the elaboration of the Spanish Law on concessions in the field of Public Works (2003). Also on this topic, he has collaborated with several multilateral institutions (World Bank, InterAmerican Development Bank, European Investment Bank, European Union) as a consultant in the development of PPPs in transport infrastructures, especially in Latin America and in East and Central European countries.
His latest articles in scientific journals are the following:
