Professor Vincent Giovangigli received his PhD in Applied Mathematics in 1982 and
Habilitation in 1988, both from University Paris 6.
His main research interests focus on mathematical modeling of multicomponent
reactive flows. He is in the editorial board of Combustion Theory and Modeling.
He has published 2 books and more than 70 papers.
In 2011, he received Jacques-Louis Lions prize awards from
the French Academy of Sciences.
