In this talk, Professor Zhao will present the concept and clinical application of digital breast tomosynthesis, outline the critical imaging performance factors and how they can be optimized for a specific task. She will present the special considerations for detectors when implementing contrast enhanced breast imaging, and present new detector technologies being developed in her laboratory.
