聂上游 博士是壳牌石油公司总部商业和战略顾问，具有能源领域二十年的工作经验。本科毕业于北京大学，在美国芝加哥大学地球物理系获得博士学位，Rice大学获得MBA。
 Dr. Nie has 20 years of energy company working experience in one major American company (Amoco) and one European company (Shell), and one consulting company (IHS Energy).
and worked on technical assessment of oil and gas exploration and development projects in countries from Russia, to Brazil, Africa, China and the Middle East.
He changed to become a commercial and strategy advisor for Shell; providing advice to senior Shell leadership on major industry trends, predictions of key external events in the world, and identifying and maturing cooperative opportunities between Chinese national oil companies and Shell globally. His latest work is on joint study on China's Gas Development strategy between Shell and the Development Research Center of the State Council.
