Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Waterloo, NSERC Chair in Water Treatment, Canada
35 years’ experience in of drinking water treatment with more than 150 refereed publications. Current areas of interest include robustness of drinking water treatment processes, understanding and applying biofiltration, application of new technologies such as membranes, and the identification and removal of trace contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and endocrine disrupters.
