Professor Manuel Miró received his M.Sc. (1998) and Ph.D. (2002) in chemistry at the University of the Balearic Islands, Spain. He conducted post-doctoral research in several universities including the Technical University of Berlin, Technical University of Denmark and University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Austria. He was appointed Visiting Professor at the Abo Akademi University (Turku, Finland) in 2010 and University of Melbourne in 2010 and 2014.
He is currently the International Expert in the TEAB Project (with EU funds) entitled “Establishment of research team focused on experimental and applied biopharmacy” granted to Charles University (Czech Republic).
He is author of over 140 scientific papers within the time frame 2000-2013 in internationally renowned analytical chemistry
