报告摘要:In this course, we will introduce the divergent beam transform and discuss some of its properties. The divergent beam transform is the mathematical tool used to model the measurements in X-ray cone-beam tomography. The condition of Tuy, which is needed to enable accurate reconstruction, will be discussed, as well as general reconstruction theories. A particular emphasis will be placed on two theories: the reconstruction scheme of Grangeat, and the filtered-backprojection method of Katsevich. These theories will be presented in such a way that the mathematical link between the two methods appears clear. Afterwards, we will discuss reconstruction from helical cone-beam data for diagnostic CT scanners. Reconstruction using a direct application of the method of Katsevich will be considered, as well as using an alternative methodology that relies on inversion of the Hilbert transform in image space.
