报告人简介:Dr. C-M Charlie Ma (马长明) received his B.S. from Zhejiang University in 1982, M.S. from Shanghai University of Science and Technology in 1986, and Ph.D. from the University of London, London, UK in 1992. Dr. Ma continued his radiation therapy research and clinical training at the Royal Marsden Hospital/Institute of Cancer Research, London, UK until 1993. He was a research officer at the National Research Council of Canada, Ottawa, Canada from 1993 to 1996, and an associate professor at Stanford University, Stanford, CA from 1996 to 2001. Currently, he is Professor, Director of Radiation Physics and Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Ma is recognized internationally as an expert in radiation dosimetry, image guidance, plan optimization and treatment delivery for advanced radiation therapy. He has edited 4 books and published more than 20 book chapters and 180 peer-reviewed journal articles in these areas. He was elected Fellow of American College of Medical Physics (ACMP), American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), American Association of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and Institute of Physics (IOP), and served as members on numerous professional committees, journal editorial boards and scientific review panels.
