摘要:Robotics provides the tools to probe the human neuromuscular system and to study how the human body would respond to simulated external conditions. Our group at Columbia University Robotics and Rehabilitation(ROAR) Laboratory has designed exoskeletons and movement training devices. This talk will describes scientific challenges and training studies with healthy adults, stroke patients with hemiparasis, children with cerebral palsy, and potential elderly fallers.Neural disorders limit one's ability to perform common activities of daily living, such as walking, reading etc.
