报告摘要:This work originates from phenomena and engineering problems occuring in the intermediate duct between the high pressure turbine and low pressure turbine in an aircraft engine. So for instance obstacles and surface enlargement (like ribs) as well as impinging jets may occur. In addition a so-called pocket cavity exists between the low pressure turbine exit and the outlet guide vane. The present talk highlights experimental and computational investigations of these phenomena with real world relevance.
 
报告人介绍: Bengt Sunden is the Professor of Heat Transfer, Lund University, Lund, Sweden since 1992. And has been the head of Department of Energy Science from 1995 to 2016. His current research topics are: Enhancement of heat transfer in compact heat exchangers; computational methods of convective flow and heat transfer (CFD) in complex narrow geometries; combustion–related heat transfer. The publication list includes about 500 papers in well-recognised journals, books and proceedings. He is a fellow of ASME. From 2005-2008, he served as associate editor of the ASME Journal of Heat Transfer. Since 2007 he serves as regional editor of the Journal of Enhanced Heat Transfer. From 1st July 2010 Professor Sunden serves on a three years term as associate editor of the ASME Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications. In 2006 he was appointed honorary professor of Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. According to ISI knowledge Web of Science, the overall number of citations is 26 per year and the total number of citations is more than 1300.
